The paytech Kushki and Habi have joined forces to optimize real estate purchase processes in a faster, simpler and safer way in Latin America, which allows digitizing multiple processes and services within companies, while end users can acquire real estate faster.

More and more companies are betting on the consolidation of the digital ecosystem in Colombia and are transforming the landscape of different industries and sectors. One of the most impacted is the world of Proptech, Fintech and Paytech, which are enormously important for true financial inclusion.

At the same time that, on the side of the service providers, they have the capacity to automate processes, use new technologies to expedite procedures to overcome barriers, such as the office hours of an entity or the volume that a person requires.

In this scenario, very interesting news were recently released, to say the least, and that is that Paytech Kushki and Habi joined forces to optimize real estate purchase processes in a much faster, simpler and safer way.

This, through Certifikado, a platform enabled by Kushki that was designed for companies, and that interacts directly with public and private entities to obtain documents and certify their legitimacy, undoubtedly a fundamental step in their business processes.

For those who have completed a real estate process, they know how important or challenging it is to have all the right documentation. Therefore, it is not unnecessary to clarify that the CTLs are an essential document to record the traceability of the former owners of a property, and that it includes key information such as liens, domain limitations and mortgages, among other essential data that must be considered when buying a home. So having more traceability or agility is very valuable.

Not surprisingly, thanks to this innovation, Habi was able to double its volume of CTLs at the beginning of 2022. Partly thanks to the possibility of focusing its team on business tasks and allowing technology to support this other process.

To talk about this announcement, and about the good timing of the digitization of the industry, we spoke exclusively with Manuel Steremberg, Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Kushki, the world-class paytech that connects LatAm with digital payments and helps companies in the region reduce the costs and complexity of digital transactions, while improving acceptance rates and reducing fraud.

And with Juan Pablo Garavito, Financial Vice President of Habi, the largest buyer and seller of used homes in Colombia and Mexico
